Learning a foreign language at Pursue Your Dream Foundation (PYD), an NPO located in NY, where English is the native language, enhances the learning process. It is easier to learn, more effective, much more fun and gives you one of the greatest experiences you will ever have when living in a foreign culture. Have you attended a language school abroad? How was your experience? Traveling abroad to study a foreign language is often a life changing experience. Established in 2007, people from all around the world have looked to the Purse Your Dream Foundation for an effective, lasting, and enjoyable learning experience. When it comes to learning to speak a new language or understanding the nuances of another culture, no one is better prepared to help you reach your goals than PYD. Our courses feature an up-to-date curriculum based on the experience of business professionals who dedicate their priceless experience in the business world to improving your English ability, and your understanding of American business practices.

All of our language/business courses feature the most natural way of learning to speak a new language as well as gaining insight into corporate America! Learning the English language is important in today’s world. When you consider that approximately 375 million people in the world speak English as a their native tongue, and an equally large number of people speak English as a second language, and around 750 million people speak English as a foreign language, English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. In addition, over one billion people currently study English. In fact, it is estimated that one in four people on earth is studying English as a foreign language and you could be one of them.
The purpose of the Pursue your Dream Foundation is to bridge the gap between foreign countries and the United States of America. Our commitment to quality, perseverance and business savvy will help better educate all foreigners who have the desire to financially succeed in both their home countries and America. We plan to accomplish this goal by improving the foreigners’ language skills as well as enhancing their understanding of American business culture so that they can better cope with American culture. We aim to teach them what American life is like so that when they return to their own countries they can effectively apply what they have learned in the United States.

We plan to achieve this mission by introducing you to the American Dream. We will partner you with professionals from your desired field so that you can experience first the American lifestyle and way of doing business, first hand. Weekly meetings are held in a classroom setting where you will study and improve your ability in English, and learn survival tips for living in America. We will also educate you and guide you through banking procedures, purchasing cell phones and obtaining housing.
More and more businesses work closely with companies in other countries. They need many different kinds of workers who can communicate in different languages and understand other cultures. No matter what career you choose, if you’ve learned a second language, you will have a real advantage. Dealing with another culture enables people to gain a more profound understanding of their own culture. Studying languages in the context of history, politics, and popular culture can help you follow international events with insight, opening up perspectives to make you an informed and responsible citizen of your country and of the world. Foreign language study creates more positive attitudes and less prejudice toward people who are culturally different. Language study introduces you to new realms of ideas, customs, habits, and values. In both professional and personal ways, the twenty first century places demands on people’s global knowledge. Business skills plus foreign language skill make an employee more valuable in the marketplace. Directly and indirectly the study of languages, cultures and literatures will provide you with important job-related knowledge and skills that can give you a competitive edge. Leaders and decision makers must be able to access information, to understand it and to interpret it critically; linguistic and cultural knowledge is essential to meeting these challenges.
The Pursue Your Dream Foundation is about finding unique solutions to educational barriers and building winning relationships. We help the student/client who wants to experience working in an American corporate environment and US institutions seeking international professionals who can help them expand their company on the global market through working closely with international communities and foreign countries. We will host fundraisers and gratefully accept donations. We will organize educational seminars to introduce our services to our community.
